Attendance

Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than Ten consecutive days will render a student liable to be withdrawn and his name will be struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted only on payment of fresh Admission Fee subject to availability of vacancy.

All students are expected to be present on the first day of the academic year, on the opening day after and on the closing day before every vacation.

It is mandatory for students to complete 75% attendance in a year to become eligible for the final exam. Any shortfall in attendance will render a student ineligible for any academic prize.

Students suffering from any of the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to school.

(a)          Chicken Pox : Till all rashes dry up.

(b)          Measles : Two weeks after the rash disappears.

(c)           Mumps : Until the swelling has completely subsided.

(d)          Jaundice : Until the disease is totally clear.

(e)          Conjuctivitis : Till redness of eyes totally disappear.

Students after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease will be permitted to attend the school only on production of a fitness certificate from a competent doctor.
